First, Rapid growth in the output of smelting products.China’s output of 10 nonferrous metals in the first two months of 2021 was 10.556 million tons, up 10.6 percent year on year, according to the National Bureau of Statistics.Among them, refined copper output was 1.63 million tons, up 12.3 percent year on year;Primary aluminum output was 6.452 million tons, up 8.4 percent year on year;Lead production was 1.109 million tons, up 27.8% year on year;The output of zinc was 1.075 million tons, up 2.8% year on year.

Second, the production of processed materials increased substantially.According to the data of the National Bureau of Statistics, from January to February 2021, the output of copper processing materials was 2.646 million tons, up by 22.0% year on year;The output of aluminum was 10.276 million tons, up 59.3% year on year.

Three, the main varieties of prices to achieve varying degrees of growth.According to the data of China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association, the average domestic copper spot price was 60,612 yuan/ton from January to February 2021, up 28.5% year on year;The average spot price of aluminum was 15,620 yuan/ton, up 11.6% year on year.The average spot price of lead was 15,248 yuan/ton, up 3.6% year on year.The average spot price of zinc was 2,008 yuan/ton, up 17.5% year on year.
